hi, i’m nearly 6 months pp (not exclusively breastfeeding, maybe 2 feeds a day and rest is formula) and still no period. considering ttc again as we’d like a close age gap but period is nowhere in sight. i’m so confused too because i’ve had all the ovulation and pms symptoms under the sun recently and have been convinced it’s coming then never has 😭 is there anything i can take to help?

You don’t need a period to be ovulating

Mine’s just come back 10 months postpartum and around 8 weeks after fully stopping breastfeeding. I swear I had pms for all of those 8 weeks! I had reducing breastfeeding a lot in the couple of months prior to this but only when I fully stopped did it cone back.

Just to echo the above, you don’t need a period to ovulate. Many people ovulate whilst breastfeeding and don’t have periods.
I had a chemical a few cycles ago and had no period for 2 months after it but I did ovulate (confirmed with scan)
