Wondering if anyone can help?

DH and I are TTC, my cycles are slightly irregular but I just a positive OPK today, have ewcm and my boobs are killing so I think I’ve ovulated. I’ve calculated that this means I’ll likely be on my period slap bang in the middle of our honeymoon in a couple of weeks (unless I get a BFP).

I want to take norethisterone if possible to delay my period, but not sure how this will interfere with TWW? If I am pregnant is it likely to cause a problem? Im also reluctant to mess with my cycles as they have been quite irregular since coming off the pill and in recent months have started to settle into more of a rhythm.

Bit of a long shot but wondering if anyone has experience of this to share? I was hoping to buy OTC as I doubt I’ll get a doctor appointment this week.

It needs to be taken 3 days before period is expected or it won't work in delaying it. That being said, I think you need to make a choice to delay ttc this month, or sacrifice having your period on your honeymoon. It's not safe to take in the event you may be pregnant as it can affect development /possibly birth defects. You can't rule out pregnancy until two weeks after ovulation.

I'm sure there are women who took it and found out they were pregnant and baby is fine, however I personally don't think it's worth the risk. I was prescribed on a monthly basis if needed as I wasn't having periods and was told not to take it until I've had a negative test , which your meant to wait until 14dpo.
