Hello.
Me and my partner (25 and 26) have been TTC for 13 months. We’ve never had a positive test.
He has a doctors appointment June 14th and mine is June 26th. We’re hoping this will help us to understand why this isn’t happening for us. I’m terrified of being told I have infertility issues.

anyone who has been in this position, what actually happened next? So like, what did doctor’s appointments involve, how long did it take for you to get answers, what tests did you have done, any success stories?

I’m trying to be more positive but it’s difficult when friends and siblings are announcing pregnancies all around us.

Thank you

@TS45

I am so sorry to hear you are worrying. I am in the same situation as you been trying for my first for 18 months. I am however 35 so also worried time is not on my side. I went to the GP who ran blood tests, sent me for scans and had my tubes checked (HYCOSY). My other half was also sent for a Semen Analysis. All out results came back normal so they can not see a reason we are not getting pregnant. I have now been referred to the fertility hospital and are waiting for an appointment to come through.

It really is hard to stay positive when everyone around you seems to be announcing pregnancies I have 4 close friends due this month.

Its easier said than done but try not to put to much pressure on your self or blame your self for not being able to get pregnant. Sometimes it is out of our control.
