Clear Blue confusion!?

I'll start the thread by saying, I'm definitely not pregnant now but had major confusion the past week or so and wondering if someone can make any sense of it, or had similar experience?
I 'conceived' 8th May. Period was due 19th May.

Took a test last Thursday, May 25th. It was one of the Clear Blue ultra early that detect from six days before your period is due. This test was positive.

Wanted to make sure of my dates so used another type of Clear Blue, the one that says how many weeks this Monday, that said negative. Using the same pee I used the second ultra early and this was positive.

I started bleeding Monday night and have been seen at EPAU today. Had bloods and the hospital have just rang to tell me there is no detectable HcG in my blood and I'm definitely not pregnant! Has anyone else had problems with the ultra early tests? Could they have been false positives? I just feel totally confused and the lady on the phone was quite dismissive of my questions, saying it doesn't matter, I don't know - you are not pregnant.

I literally had this exact issue with clearblue early tests last week. I'm due on period tomorrow so Saturday was 6 days early and I know very early to test. Came back very faintly positive but everyone on here said it must be faulty. Did another clearblue the next day and the same thing. Then first response ones and all negative ever since... I'm really worried that the clearblue ones must all be really faulty and it's just terrible to think of all the false hope they are giving people. If it's happening this often and to so many people it's surprising there hasn't been a recall of them.

Unfortunately it seems the test was a false positive due to a faulty test and the doctors are correct that you were never pregnant. Sorry Flowers

Im not trusting clearblue early tests anymore as it's so upsetting to be given the false hope.
