I'm just really hoping for a bit of reassurance, or i dont know, straight talking.

First day of last period - 20th April
Only time we had sex (we are mid extension and have been knackered) - 4th May
Tested positive - 23rd May
Tested with digital - 24th May - said 1-2 weeks
Tested with digial - 29th May - said 2-3 weeks
Started cramps and spotting - 26th May

Been for an early scan this morning as should be 6 weeks and can't even see a sac. Was an internal scan.

They did blood tests and i'm going back on saturday for repeat bloods.

She did a dip test while i was there and it was a faint positive, i'd drunk loads to prepare in case they did external scan.

Chances are its gone right? They are saying we could be earlier than i think but i dont see how we could be.

I'm so tired, i've not slept since I started spotting. I can't help but wonder if its somewhere in there, its not is it? It wouldnt make sense?

I realise you can't tell me and the blood tests are the only thing that will tell me for certain but i'm going mental.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom, or similar experiences or do i just presume its gone?

Also - how the fuck do i sleep?

Also - I've got sore boobs and random nausea. When will that go?

I’m so sorry op but it does look likely

ShakeDatTing2 · 01/06/2023 11:05

Sounds like a chemical pregnancy. I'm so sorry.

askmenothing · 01/06/2023 11:05

Thanks! I said to the midwife 'chances are its gone right' and she was all smiley 'oh maybe not'. I pretty much wish they just said 'yep, gone, go drink wine'

So sorry!
One of my MMC was a blighted ovum and I had to wait a week for another scan and it was torture. just wanted it over at that point so I could move on.

Sorry OP 😢

I had a chemical back in September last year, it sounds very similar to the timeline you've described.

It's such an upsetting experience and it's horrible having to wait to find out what's going on with your body and baby.

Sending hugs 💛

So sorry OP, it's bloody shit ttc when things are sent to worry you, or worse still if things don't work out. If this doesn't work for you, drink wine, enjoy sex and eat all those things you can't when pregnant as it'll happen for you - good luck, with the extension too of course!

askmenothing · 01/06/2023 12:45

I really appreciate the kindness! Thank you all. I think its pretty clear its gone.
