You had unprotected sex so of course you could be.

dmonae · 02/06/2023 06:57

even with all that its a possibility ?

I think its highly unlikely, you were still covered by the feb depo at the end of April and if you were 7 weeks pregnant it would show on a test by now. Why not go to gp and ask them for a test?

It's possible yes. The depo only protects you for 3 months. If I was ever even a day late for my injection the nurse would make me do a pregnancy test before she'd give it to me because of course it's possible. It's unlikely though. Your body takes a long time to adjust after coming off of this kind of contraception which is the most likely cause of your symptoms. Give it another few weeks and see if things settle and then take another test.

I would test because obviously you had unprotected sex but in my case I had 2 shots came off it to try to conceive and it took 18 months to actually clear my system before I fell pregnant

dmonae · 06/06/2023 06:08

you can still get a false negative

I was on the depo for more than 10 years

i came off the depo in may 2022 12 weeks

i didn’t get periods until november

They were heavy all over the place and sometimes I had a weld gap inbetween each period but in July 2023 I’ve got pregnant, you’ve just gotta wade through all the period drama
