I’ve been tracking for the past three months and figured tracking vaginally was a bit more accurate for me. I was expecting each chart to follow a similar pattern but they’re all different. The one think that you are looking for is the rise that confirms ovulation. Most apps will automatically detect ovulation after three rises. The rest of the chart is kind of useless maybe the drop at the end that indicates af could be of use but there are still some charts that ended up being bfp. I combine bbt with opks and checking cervix so I can really pinpoint my ovulation and not stress if we managed to dtd on the right days. Also since my luteal phase doesn’t change I know the day af is expected and know if my late or not.

Forgot to add I don’t set up an alarm to measure at the same time. I naturally wake up everyday around 6-8 sometimes even later and immediately take my temperature and it works just fine to give me an idea where I’m at and I use a regular thermometer and as you can see ovulation is detected every month without any trouble.
