Not ovulating??

Hello,

Name change as noone knows we are TTC.

Two years after birth I had my first PPP. Have now had three 'periods' and although we are not trying to get pregnant immediately, I have been tracking temperature and using ovulation sticks to get to know my cycles for when we do (hopefully in the next couple of months). I successfully used these methods to get pregnant before and so I think I am using them correctly now, but I am not getting anything beyond the faintest lines on the ovulation tests (and certainly nothing even remotely close to a peak) and my BBT is up and down with no real pattern.

Can I be having anovulation cycles still? I'm still BFing (a gap while my toddler is at daycare during the day, but can be frequent enough during the evening/night). Is there anything I can or should be doing to help bring back ovulation? Any advice at all very welcome. Thank you all so much!

I think it's breastfeeding at night that needs to stop to trigger ovulation, long gaps at least..

I had a similar bf relationship with my toddler (at nursery all day but feeding in the evening/night still). In my case, my periods didn't return at all, although I had several months of cyclical cramps etc as though I was about to come on. In the end, because we were wanting to TTC, I fully weaned him at 21 months. My period came back the next month! Was immediately regular and I conceived on the third cycle (sadly lost to a MMC in April but taking the positive - did get pregnant pretty quickly). Good luck! X

Hi! 💓
do you test every day of the month? Twice a day? You may be missing it.
