I have fallen into the trap of wondering why at home pregnancy tests aren’t more clearer!!

I took a test today and the T line immediately became dark whereas the C line appeared faint. I thought this meant it was void so I took another one a couple of hours later.

This time, both lines appeared vividly. Before I got excited, I researched the brand and found that they frequently have false positives.

I got my DH to pick up another supermarket brand. This time the T line was faint. I thought it was really there. It’s no where near as faint as others have posted!

I planned on doing another test tomorrow morning but would it be a waste of a time? Am I better off paying for a digital test and try again in a week or 2?

I have no idea how many DPO I am but I’ve been have some symptoms.

If you have done 3 tests all with second lines you’re pregnant. A test line being darker than the control line means it’s a dye stealer so definitely very pregnant. Taking another only 2 hours later wouldn’t likely be as dark because it’s not a very long hold. Don’t compare brands as they all differ and are all different sensitivities.

If you’ve had very obvious test lines then a digital should show positive. Have you got pictures of the tests?

A line is a line... 3 lines is pretty positive!

I guess I was so shocked it was positive that I couldn't believe it!

I took another test this morning which came back positive with darker lines.

Safe to say I'm pregnant!

25 March but I am so irregular with cycles lasting up to 59 days.

It'll be hard calculating ovulation and conception for the time being
