My DH and I are trying to conceive and it has been recommended that we start on vitamins. I tried Pregnacare but can't stand the taste of it! Any recommendations on multivitamins when trying for a baby Smile

Not sure if it's relevant but I'm in my late 30s!

@Ella31 @Confused19831983
Are these vitamins or fertility supplements? From what I understand im meant to take vitamins with folate while trying to conceive to ensure baby will be healthy. Nervous as I've also been partial to meat and junk did so now that im trying to conceive im trying to make sure I'm doing all the right things Blush

You just need to take folic acid. The folic acid tablets are very small so you shouldn’t be able to taste them as you swallow them.

I have boots own but I’m sure they’re all the same.

What’s wrong with meat? Don’t give that up, you’ll need the iron.

I used seven seas, i used their trying for a baby vitamins and then moved onto the pregnancy vitamins during pregnancy.

They worked brilliantly for me 🙂

Proceive are just pregnancy supplements. They have a range of vitamins including folic acid. I just find them great as I think it helped me conceive. I'm now taking the 1st Trimester ones

Not giving up meat at all - no way! Just that I used to eat a lot of meat and hardly any vegetables so I'm worried that my past history of poorly Balanced meals will come back to bite me now that I'm trying for a baby !
