Fourth day of very faint lines

Hi,

I am now on my fourth day of very faint lines (all with first morning wee). I’ve posted one photo because they all pretty much look the same - annoyingly I switched from clear blue to first response on day three as that’s all they had in the local pharmacy so that could be the reason for it?

However, my period was due yesterday so I really expected that todays test would be darker…

With previous pregnancies my lines were dark and I never bothered testing again. Is this common to have such light lines for several days?

I have always had light cramping on my left side during early pregnancy and this time is no different. But combined with the perpetual light lines I’m worried this might be ectopic… any advice?

Just to add, the day before the first faint line was definitely negative.

sorry you’re going through this. Do you know when you ovulated? Could have been late ovulation & late implantation but like you, I’d have expected a darkening of lines by now but the fact you’ve been using different tests may be an explanation

if I were you, I’d make a doctors appointment to get checked out if there’s no further progression just to rule anything out.

Maybe take another frer tomorrow morning to see if there’s any progression? hcg does take 48 hours to double generally.

it’s still pretty faint - I can’t seem to get hold of the same kinds of tests annoyingly. Most places only sell digital ones which is not helpful. This was this morning:

That must be frustrating! Is that one darker than a previous clearblue one you’ve taken as that one does look a bit clearer than the frer!

I’m in the states (but British) the first one is “First response” and this one is a clear blue folding pregnancy test (who knew?).

I’ve attached the very first (non-folding) clear blue and first response which were also faint, although the light isn’t as good. All of these are first wee

I would make a dr app as the lines are very faint for having missed a period

Just came to say I'm crossing my fingers for you. This must be so stressful having to see no progression. I would only suggest to keep testing on the same kind of test so the progression is seen better. These cheap easy at home tests are sensitive and I find they detect HCG hormones way earlier than other tests.

Thanks :) I’ve had a really hard time getting the same kind of test, but I have a huge pack of these little strips now so it should be okay going forward. My period is 3 days late today 😬

Just posting an update in case someone stumbles across this post with similar circumstances. Test looking v dark now.
