ive taken tests over the last 2/3 days are these evap lines or positive tests?

I’ve heard good and bad about clear blue…

@BudgetBuster no the top was the first one I ever took.

the second one was taken later that day

then this one was taken this morning…they don’t seem to be getting stronger so I’m not sure anymore 😣

I’ve had v v faint lines which I think has been evap lines on 2 frer yesterday and today on a boots early test a faint faint line, so done another frer this afternoon and was completely negative!

Could you try another brand? X

How long after testing are you taking photos?

How many days past your period?

@LittleLemonPie @sillyonehetpes the photos are taken from different times throughout the day but I have been looking at them after 5 minutes (like it says on the box) and you can see a very faint line. Then it just gradually gets darker over about 10minutes

Today is 6 past my period. According to the flo app I should of come on my period on the 13th of May

my last period was 11th April until 16th April

Did you confirm ovulation?

Calculate period since first day of last period - so about 5 weeks. I would have expected stronger lines but get a First Response test but look for the lines in the first few minutes. Try and test by holding your pee for as long as possible. But I would say you are expecting x

Actually if that last one was take with your first morning wee I would be concerned.

If you are over 5 weeks since last period, and the line has gotten lighter I would unfortunately suspect a chemical. I'd maybe ask for blood test for HCG if you are concerned.

@sillyonehetpes @BudgetBuster think I’m going to wait a few days, just to see if my period is late for some reason.

then if I’m still not on my period next week, as it’s the last week of the month, I’ll try another brand of test and see what that shows. As if i don’t have a period next week I’ll be of not had one all throughout May

the one I took this morning was with my morning wee. The 2 on the first photo were taken on my 2nd wee and about 5th wee of the day yesterday

No it was getting a very light test line 10 days after sex. So you should be getting very dark lines.

Please go and see your doctor as it could be a chemical pregnancy that hasn't miscarried

I went to see my doctor today and she has sent my urine sample off for testing

she didn’t want to send me for a blood test @sillyonehetpes

@sillyonehetpes I thought it was weird but she wouldn't send me for bloods, my doctors have never been very good though...

It's not looking promising for me though, my lines are getting fainter...it's looking like I'll just have to keep testing and seeing what the outcome is

Then if still no period by the end of the month head back to the doctors to find out what's going on, maybe they'll do something then if still no period for a longer period of time

Do you have any pink dye tests? Blue ones I find are horrific. Even cheap strip tests?

I had the exact same thing happen last month. I used these exact tests also and was very similar time frame as you (6/7 weeks since lmp). Unfortunately I did miscarry. Don’t want to upset you but I wanted answers too at the time . Wish you well xx

@BudgetBuster I've done a pink dye test and it was negative, I have some FRER coming, they are pink dye but also 6 day early ones so going see what they say over the weekend

I have some FRER coming today, so going to do them over the weekend and see what the outcome is & then see if my period arrives over the next week or so, if not I may be back to the doctors

Did you get lines within the 5 minutes of testing. Nearly all my clearblues had a line past the allocated waiting time

@Ella31 a faint line started to appear on 2 of the tests within the 5 minute time, but then got clearer /darker over 10-20minutes...

@BudgetBuster sorry for the late reply been away this last week to celebrate my birthday

Still no update at the moment, doctors wouldn't send me for bloods, sick of peeing on a sick at this point

But still no period since 11th to 16th April, so going to take another test on Monday to see if that gives me a clear answer

Morning ladies, quick update from me, I took 2 tests this morning, just cheap freedom brand pink dye ones from Tesco (both using the same wee, as I pee into a glass)

& these are the results...would you say that's a faint positive? 🤞🏼

Yes I would say that was a positive. You're quite late though and in my own experience a test that far past ovulation is much darker - perhaps different for others, I don't know. They say a line is a line though.
