@emmatcc1 hello, I'll join please, we've been on a couple of threads together, I've been more chilled this month, only started doing OPK's a few days ago and had confirmed ovulation today.

@Angelselevenx yes my LH peaked mid day and then dropped a bit at night. It’s still a bit high and I’m expecting a temp rise tomorrow.

@Bailem I did opks for the first time this cycle so I did a bunch to get a hang of it.
It’s nice having everyone on a similar day in the cycle.

Can I join too? Got a high followed by a peak on clearblue yesterday and DTD but annoyingly my DH is away today so fingers crossed it was enough yesterday. It's my first cycle TTC number 2 (my little boy is 22months). Bit random and a bit gross but does anyone else get a bit constipated around ovulation?

Think I’m 2DPO, only starting out so using Flo app to track. We managed to DTD Sat, Sun, Mon, Wed so keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻

Hello! I think I’m 3 DPO. TTC #1. Using Easy at Home OPKs and the Premom app.

LH peaked and dropped on Sunday. Think I ovulated Monday. We DTD Friday and Saturday so really hoping that’s enough but I’m fairly old (age starts with a 4) so lower chances.

Driving myself a bit mad so pleased to see a thread!

Re constipation: yup!

Morning all!

Bit of background for me - came off contraception in December 2022, had January to let my cycles regulate, started trying in February 2023, had a chemical pregnancy in March, cycle was a bit off in April (started spotting two days early and bled for around 11/12 days, normal AF is 8 days) so now we're back trying. Normally ovulate around CD21 and I'm only CD14 so a bit of time yet. TTC #1.

@Hrps not around ovulation but when AF is due I do!

I was supposed to ovulate yesterday but this morning when I took my bbt it was low. So I went back to sleep an woke up 2 hours later and it was a bit higher. Hopefully I ovulated yesterday and not today as my partner is sick and we can’t dtd.

usually get EWM tomorrow (cd16) with peak within the next few days after so will be BD all weekend haha!

We've given it a really good go this month, nothing more we could do, DPO#1 waiting game starts now.

My close friend announced her pregnancy after ttc for some months, can't help but think how nice it would be to have babies together as I was very much on my own with our DD x

@Bailem I also had a really good feeling for this month until this morning when I wasn’t sure I ovulation happened or not. I’m gonna count today as 1dpo.

I am 1dpo today, I used opks and temping to confirm, this is my 4th cycle ttc since a miscarriage in December.

I think if it doesn't happen this cycle I may try the "relaxed" approach and drop the temping and opks if I could manage lol.

Really hoping this is the month... for all of us 🙂

Update I checked my cervix again and it’s completely closed so ovulation definitely happened.
When is af due for everyone? Mine is on june 1.

@emmatcc1 I'm also the 1st June, seems like such a long way off. I feel more chilled this month but could all change in the week before AF 🙈 x

1st of June for me also. I'm trying to stay relaxed about it but its tricky.

I am only using the Flo app to track ovulation and all your comments make me feel like I should be doing more. Trying to DTD every other day so maybe knowing when I ovulate doesn't even matter that much.

2nd cycle trying for 1st baby after a miscarriage earlier in the year.

I went 9 cycles without testing and now I have some cheap test so I’ll probably start on 9-10 dpo.
@BuzzieBo If you do it every other day it doesn’t really matter if you know when you ovulate but I find it better to know how long is each phase of my cycle and know the day af has to come and if it’s late since you can ovulate different days each cycle. Also I read somewhere yesterday that dtd 2 days before o there’s 30% chance of conception the day before o has 41% conception and doing it on o day has only 20% chance. So the day you don’t dtd might just be the day before ovulation and you lower your chances.

AF is due 29th of May for me. I hate the waiting so much!

That's interesting @emmatcc1 . If don't fall pregnant this cycle I might start taking ovulation tests because to be honest DTD every other day can be exhausting and not as exciting when you have to stick to a schedule 😂

That is interesting @emmatcc1 I always assumed the day of ovulation was the most important day, (which we didn't do this month, we dtd the day before ovulation so that is good to know)

@BuzzieBo I think it is good to know ov date but also I think you can obsess too much (that is me definitely lol) there must be a balance somewhere but I haven't found it yet 😄

Also as others said, I dislike the wait of the tww ... even more obsessing

@BuzzieBo tbh as well as tracking I get all the natural feelings of ovulation 😉🤣 so I definitely know when it's happening and it's always been pretty spot on with my period tracking app too 🙂

I was just reading the earlier comments that I missed and noticed that quite a few use the flo app... so it seems really popular, is it good and quite accurate? Would it be better than the fertility friend app?
