I was just wondering how long it took everyone's periods to return after they had their marina coil / IUD removed. I had mine removed on 5th April and haven't gone on to any other contraception to give my body a break. I started bleeding very heavily a few days later and this lasted for 10 days, most of which was very heavy. From what I understand this was probably a withdrawal bleed. I haven't had anything since or any signs of my period coming. I did a pregnancy test yesterday which was negative so that rules out that. So for anyone who has a marina coil and had it removed, what was your experiences? How long did it take for your periods to return?
