Hi everyone

I miscarried on the 9th April.
I bled for 4 weeks then stopped bleeding.
My partner and I DTD on the 7th May for the first time since the miscarraige and we have a few times since
I stated bleeding on 9th May and this stopped fully on the 10th, then since I have been spotting (light pink and watery)
I took a FRER this morning and i got a positive result? I'm stumped 🤯🤯 I'm pretty sure 2-3 weeks ago I did get a negative test but due to the whirlwind of emotions, I'm not even 100% sure if this happened or if I'm imagining I had a negative.
My HCG level on the 7th April was 300+ and by the Monday it dropped to 137 but a week or more after that, it was only down to 45 then I wasn't seen again but they seemed to think they were dropping very slowly.
Rang EPU today about this test they said it could potentially be a new pregnancy so to wait a week, test again and then maybe get in for a scan. They also said maybe I still have tissue from miscarriage.
Is it possible to test positive like this only 7 days after intercourse? I don't know what to think!! The more I look at it, I think the positive line is very far over to the left. 🤯

What the EPU are saying is right, I was still testing positive six weeks after my miscarriage. I was bleeding ever so slightly for that whole time, then I had one day where I passed a bit of a clot and then no more after that. So extra tissue is possible. If it was 7 days post intercourse the likelihood you will be MAX 7 DPO - which is so rare you would get a positive… But not impossible

Sorry to hear @Ems1992
Yeah, it probably is leftover tissue. They said to try get in to get my bloods done again so will arrange today x
