Anyone taking Conceive Plus Ovulation support?

Hey all,

I will be on cd13 by the time my ovulation support tablets are delivered. I usually ovulate around CD20-25. Is it worth starting to take them when they arrive or should I wait to the start of my next cycle or does it not really matter?

thanks!

Do you have insulin resistance ? As ovulation support is marketed for women with pcos. The component in conceive plus ovulation support is myo inositol and is intended for that purpose. If your not suffering from either of those then the ovulation support isn't beneficial for you and I'd stick with a regular pre conception supplement

@CTMcG if your already ovulating your wasting money taking those tablets as you don't need them and your throwing your money down the drain.
Do you have pcos? As other poster said. They made those for women like me who have pcos as we don't ovulate everymonth . It's been shown that inositol can improve those symptoms of pcos and hence restore ovulation because of its ability to help lower their insulin. if you don't have irregular periods and ovulation then you don't need them. In fact , women who don't have pcos have often reported their cycles getting messed up from taking those ovulation support tablets. They sell a regular multivitamin for everyone.

Yes I have PCOS and irregular periods and found these helped trying for DC1. First cycle trying for her lasted 79 days, took them about 2-3 weeks before the end of the cycle and i finally ovulated (although this could be a massive coincidence) then continued with them into the 2nd cycle and fell pregnant. That cycle would have been 44 days if I had not fallen pregnant x

I also have pcos . I took all my supplements to show the fertility clinic in feb everything I've been taken and he actually advised me not to take them as it contained ginger extract and I should avoid it while ttc. 🤷‍♀️
Lots of women take ginger safely during pregnancy but I did some research when I got home and did find a study that showed ginger extract increased the rate of spontaneous abortion in early pregnancy. Could be completely unrelated but the first month I fell pregnant I was on these and lost it and ever since it made me really wary. I now only take the CP up until ovulation and then I switch to myo inositol on its own to avoid the ginger. Id rather be cautious as trying to get pregnant in the first place is a hard enough battle. I use viridian and also starting alpha infolic as apparently its more effective that myo alone.
Did you stop taking myo during pregnancy or did you continue to take it ?
