Mirena removal and missing periods

Hi all! New here.
I had a Mirena coil for 7 years and once fitted, I’d had slight and rare phases of spotting, but other than that my period totally stopped.

my periods prior to the coil were about 5 days long, relatively heavy and extremely painful.
My coil was removed 14/02/2023, so 12 weeks ago. I bled very heavily for about 7 days immediately once it was out.

Since then, my ‘period’ has been a bit erratic, like every 24, 21, 28 days but it’s literally a day or two of ‘bleeding’ and it’s pathetic, I don’t even need a tampon or a pad. It’s more akin to spotting than period.

What is worrying me more is that I used to get a lot of hormonal symptoms, swollen sore boobs, spot breakouts, moody, cramp, sore back and legs - I literally get none of this now. At all.

i feel like my hormones are missing! Has anyone else experienced this after have a Mirena coil removed?

No. I've a Mirena (love it- no periods at all). A couple of friends have them and both had removed when wanting to get pregnant and periods came back in weeks.
