Help, this is driving me crazy!

Okay so abit of background is required, also never been on here before and Google has failed me, so here I am.

On 24th April, I had a confirmed 5wk + 3 day pregnancy with a heartbeat, gestational sac was noted as small. Started spotting and bleeding on 28th April, slowly getting worse, pink mucus, red blood. 2nd May, went to hospital, my cervix was closed during the bleeding so ultrasound booked for day after. 3rd May confirmed miscarriage. Baby had come away from my uterus and was sat above my cervix, no heartbeat detected. I blamed myself as I was doing quite alot of heavy lifting and all sorts trying to get my daughters new wardrobe up (with hubbys help). I was told that doing that wouldn't cause a miscarriage and it was probably to do with the sac being small but I'm still iffy on that. I certainly won't be doing much if I get pregnant again either way.

I took the medical management on 3rd May and passed the baby on the morning of the 4th. Here's where things get very weird.

I completely stopped bleeding on the 6th May (and it's not returned), so me and partner had intercourse, I know it was abit risky but I was pretty certain I wouldn't get an infection as I knew my cervix would be closed (the damn thing doesn't even open during labour so I knew she would be playing ball here). I then out of curiosity started tracking my LH, so here is were I apparently detected a surge and got a smily face, I know that HCG is an analogue of LH and that HCG can bring about a false positive LH surge, so I just didn't think much of it, until I got a negative pregnancy test the same day. So I had a negative HCG and positive LH, LH was thick red line, HCG wasn't even an evaporation line.

Me and partner had intercourse every day pretty much since then, no pain, no bleeding thank goodness, all good in that respect. I was on antibiotics as a precaution though. Booked myself a private scan in yesterday and thankfully everything is clear as a bell, healthy, no remaining tissue etc. I was very relieved as I've been getting some hot flushes and discomfort down there but it's settled now. She did find a corpus luteum on my right ovary, which is either from my recent pregnancy or I've ovulated! Things seem to be adding up.

I also took a pregnancy test yesterday, a clearblue digital and it said I was 1-2 weeks pregnant, I just took that as felt over HCG and again didn't think anything of it. Today I saw I had some signs of ovulation, mucus stretchy etc, all that stuff. So I take a LH and it's completely negative, I mean not even an evaporation line, but HCG was very much positive.

So here I'm thinking, the odds are, I'm not pregnant again so soon, very very unlikely, for one, it takes a while to ovulate again and of course I know the corpus luteum comes after ovulation but could technically be from my previous pregnancy. However the positive, HCG and negative LH are confusing, not to mention the previous LH surge and negative HCG taken on same day!

To complicated matters abit further....
I have had two children, where during both pregnancies had many ultrasounds and all confirmed that I had apparently conceived either the day after my period or soon after chemical a pregnancy ended! For example my son was conceived on 4th Jan, and my period started 1st Jan that month. Daughter was conceived 30th November, two days after a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage, where bleeding ended on 28th November . Yep, I know this is impossible, but both kids had 8+ scans (at least) each as I'm high risk and both were dated to those dates on all scans. I'm also meticulous at tracking period and note everything down so no chance of being wrong in that respect. And I did have intercourse on those dates where I apparently conceived so again, no mistake there....

I apologise about the essay but I'd really like some help here ladies. Any advice or anyone who's had this same experience, I'd appreciate it. I'd be overjoyed to be pregnant so soon after this as I was really excited about being a mum again.

Sorry, just to add, I had the LH surge and negative HCG on 6th May, two days after passing baby.

If LH surge was on the 6th May you were likely only 6dpo yesterday. It isn't possible to get a positive digital at 6dpo. I would assume its leftover hcg. I'm sorry for your loss 💐

Thanks for your reply, I'm starting to think that too as now my HCG is completely negative. At least that makes sense now!

Will start tracking this month and hopefully I can get lucky :)
