Hi all,
I'm 26, TTC my first. Came off the pill in September after being on it for 10 years.

My periods are back to normal (I think) 21 day cycle. However, everytime I take an ovulation strip it is negative with no line at all. Does this mean I'm not ovulating at all? And if so what should i do about this?

This is all new to me so I have no clue what I'm doing! Thanks in advance x

What day in your cycle are you testing? If you have a 21 day cycle then you're probably ovulation at day 7 as lateral phase should be consistent at about 14 days so you probably need to start testing as soon as you finish your period or even sooner - day 4/5. Some people have very rapid LH surge so can miss the positive if only test once a day. Alternatively you may not be ovulating, the only way to really tell is to get your progesterone tested on day 21 (or 14 for you) but you could also measure your basal body temp to see if it's going up during your cycle or not. Only anecdotal but when I came off the pill after being on it for similar length it took 9 months for me to have a period, and therefore I must've not been ovulating in that time. You might need longer but I would see your GP in the mean time and try to get some hormone tests and maybe an ultrasound to rule out polycystic ovaries.
