stick things to with your degree/move everywhere.

have condoms out on your bedside table.

posieflump · 18/02/2008 14:42

go on the pill until then?

theboob · 18/02/2008 14:44

i'm having really bad problems with my implant at the moment i think the same as scorpio1

scorpio1 · 18/02/2008 14:45

Or...try elsewhere.

GUM clinic, family planning, alternative gp.

sparklesandwine · 18/02/2008 14:48

your degree is such a fantastic thing to be concentrating on, you are fab to do all that you have and if you move then it will only be for the better i'm sure, Edinburgh is a great place!

just wishing you luck lissie x

sparklesandwine · 18/02/2008 14:50

using condoms may give your body the chance to 'get back to normal' so to speak try them for a while and see how you go. I don't get on very well with the pill myself and gave up with it years ago, we've been using condoms since DS3 and its working fine for us

OracleInaCoracle · 18/02/2008 14:52

we do have condoms, its just silencing the evil elf on my shoulder.

Take the evil elf to Edinburgh and throw it off the Castle, I'm so jealous, I'd love to live in Edinburgh, its so beautiful.

sparklesandwine · 18/02/2008 14:56

do you have anything theraputic which you do/could do to distract you? like painting, pottery or something like that

sparklesandwine · 18/02/2008 14:56

(i'll keep the elf in my pocket for you until your ready to take it out again if you like )

OracleInaCoracle · 18/02/2008 14:57

going back to college tomorrow, focus on that lissie...

Lissie, I missed the previous thread announcing your momentus decision. Well done, it was obviously tough, but right for you all as a family.

Do not allow evil elf into the bedroom (or where-ever!) and concentrate on your wonderful (un-stressful) move and fantastic college course. You have asked us to distract you further, perhaps you need to tell us all about your college work...

OracleInaCoracle · 18/02/2008 17:15

well, i have started doing case studies. reflexology tutor is really impressed with me. thinks i will make a great reflexologist, so just need to focus on that. the problem is that the elf starts wittering that this could've been our month.

rainbowdays · 18/02/2008 18:10

Elf go away - you have caused enough pain already. So...

How many case studies do you have to complete? I have only had reflexology done once on me, loved it apart from the one place where the lovely lady stuck her nail in one point!

I would love to do some courses on alternative therapies, it really interests me. Have you done much study in aromatherapy yet?

sparklesandwine · 18/02/2008 18:38

you could practise on me lissie, if only i lived nearer

OracleInaCoracle · 18/02/2008 18:49

ive done a fair bit aromatherapy. but tbh it doesnt intrest me as much (she was doing your adrenal gland when she stuck her nail in )

sparkles, im worth the travel

i'm off now to get DC ready for bed and have a glass of (much deserved!) wine x

Minnow1 · 18/02/2008 23:02

A friend of mine had reflexology recently and loved it, only trouble was she couldn't find her socks afterwards- they were looking for them for about 20 mins before she realised they were on her feet! She was so relaxed she couldn't remember putting them back on!

OracleInaCoracle · 19/02/2008 17:40

lol minnow!
