Ovulation tests - help please?

Hello,

I am really new to tracking ovulation and unsure how to read the tests properly. My kit only arrived yesterday and I tested. The top 1 was yesterday afternoon, and the bottom two are from today (morning and evening).

Is the top one positive - or should the control line be darker?

It's so hard to tell once they've dried! I want to say yes it's positive but do you have a pic of it when you did it?

I'd say that was positive - test line should be as dark as control line or darker. It looks like the same darkness to me.

I agree, I would say positive too. Are you tracking CM?

@positivethoughts1 I had quite a lot of CM two days before I got the positive test. I'm unsure if it's best to DTD when the CM is present or when the lh is positive?

If you're able, DTD regularly from when you start having EWCM until a few days after you get your positive OPK, then you've covered all bases. Do you track BBT? That can be a useful way of knowing when you can stop.

If you're only able to DTD once, then I'd probably go with as soon as you get your first positive OPK.

Oh and yes, I'd count the test in the pic as positive :)

@omgz thank you for your advice. We were only able to do it once (shortly after getting the positive strip) this month. And then the day after, but it was negative by then.

Probably need to try again next month but I guess we will see in a couple of weeks.
