Copper coil removal, delayed period?

Hi, me and my partner are trying to conceive. I had my copper coil (p removed on day 3 of my cycle at the end of March after it had been in for 4years or so.
My cycle is always around 35days long and I'm currently on day 47... not pregnant - i've done a few tests over the past couple weeks.
I have had mild cramps / ache pains since about day 28 or so

Has anyone else had delayed period/extended cycle from copper coil removal? I'm just worried about it as didnt think would have an impact really like the hormonal one does

I had my copper IUD removed 5 months ago as we are trying to get pregnant. At one point I had a 33 day cycle which is really long for me (I'm normally 27) so I got excited thinking I was pregnant but no. My length of bleeding has been really short and I'm not sure if it's just my body getting used to the iud removal. Did you manage to get pregnant?

Hey, I'm still unfortunately not pregnant and my cycles are very all over the place. My last one was 58days and my previous 2 before that both around 35ish days. One cycle I will have a period of only 3days light bleed and the following nay be 5days heavy with cramping.
I have no idea if it's just still my body after 9months getting used to not having a foreign object in it.
Hopefully your cycles regulate soon. Sending positive baby vibes your way

Sorry to hear that. I'm finding it really tough not being able to get pregnant. Especially around the holidays when you see families everywhere having fun. I hope it's just my body getting used to the IUD being gone and that it will stabilise at some point. Happy Christmas and best of luck to you and your partner xxxx

Took out copper IUD and got pregnant straight away. Periods became more consistent and shorter, less heavy flow.

May be worth undergoing test on you and your partner just to ensure everything's okay.
