Hello I'm not sure whether to buy the clearblue digital smiley face ovulation kit or stick to the cheap ovulation strips, any advice or recommendations please?

I have to be honest I used both! As Clearblue are quite pricey I used Easy @ Home cheapie sticks twice a day until the line started to darken, then used the Clearblue as well to be doubly sure. Cheapie sticks meant I could use them twice a day too so make sure I got the surge (I was a bit obsessive and desperate though!)

I would hands down recommend clearblue ovulation. They learn from you each cycle so get more and more in tune. You only need to do it with your longest overnight hold too. I bought my sticks on eBay as lots of people sell of their unused ones from when they’ve fallen pregnant.

They’re not magic but if your partner and yourself are healthy fertility wise they will get you pregnant quickly. I fell on my second month of use and ovulated three days later than I thought. A friend was impatient as she had to wait a while for meds to clear her system, she fell first month !

Easy@home and premom app 100%. So easy to use, really accurate. I caught on my first month using them

I have both (used to just use digital) but if you're looking for a good video on why cheapies might be better, check out the Fertility Homeopath on YouTube! I found it really interesting.

What does this ovulation test look like to you? I'm not sure if the app is registering properly or if it really is just low. I've had light lines for ages now and this is the darkest I've had. What do you guys think? I'm hoping for ovulation soon! Just don't know how long it will take.

I use both but I do prefer the digital. I get a bit sick of peeing on sticks multiple times a day. I will say though that the digital always pick up my surge before the cheapies do so I’ll usually get a static smiley one day on the digital and the cheapies don’t go dark until the day after. So I think the digital picks up the very beginning of the surge. I had sex two days before ovulation (going by digital) and one day after last cycle and got pregnant. Unfortunately ended up in a chemical but I do think having sex the day after the digital predicted ovulation would be helped x

Another vote for easy @ home and the premom app. I've been pregnant 3 times since Xmas so that side of things is working at least (hoping this one sticks 🤞🏻)

Can I throw a 3rd, little known option at you? A reusable saliva OPK!

I ovulate, but never got on with urine OPK's- never saw a peak etc and they cost a fortune. I bought a reusable saliva type and found it much easier to use. Mine is called 'Maybe baby' and bought abroad, but there are other brands available online in the UK. Its like a tiny microscope and you look at the shape of the dried saliva. Best of luck.

I used the CB ones with my daughter and I loved them- I'm tracking my cycles now and TTC and if I don't get pregnant in a month or 2 I'll use them again. Loved seeing the smiley face. Took all the guessing out of it. Got pregnant in the first month.
