Last month was the first time I used the ovulation strips and on cycle day 11 went straight to peak, all the other days was a low reading. Is this because it was trying to get a baseline reading? Am using them again this month.

Thats perfectly normal x

Some people just have a short surge.

I could have a faint line in the morning, a blazing positive in the evening and a faint line the next morning.

@Ttcmumma thank you, for letting me know. X

@Alloveragain3 it's strange isn't it? How it can change in a amount of time

Was the control line darker? First time your highest will be marked peak but you should visually be able to see the difference.

Lauraliverpool · 03/05/2023 19:53

@Un7breakable on the day the premom app said peak, I'd say the control line was darker or as dark as the test line.

That was positive then. I always double check cos the app can get it wrong. Also the first positive matters more than peak

I’ve only caught my actual peak once -I tend to peak in the middle of the night and it’s a short peak. I’ve been tracking for months now though so I can see the pattern and know when I will be ovulating.

Lauraliverpool · 03/05/2023 22:45

@Un7breakable I thought it must of been, compared to the other days of testing. That day definitely seemed darker than the rest.

@Misspotterscat I've seen about testing twice a day after a certain amount of days so you don't miss a peak. That's good that you've got an idea now of ovulation.
