Positive OPK on CD7

Hi, sorry for the long post! This is all new to us and I'm still learning as I go!

We are currently on cycle 2 of TTC our first baby.

I came off of the combined pill on 06/03/23 had my withdrawal bleed and first period. I tracked ovulation through OPK last month and ovulated on/around CD 14/15.
I didn't fall pregnant in that cycle and I'm now on CD7 of cycle 2.
I did an OPK test this morning and it was quite a strong line.
I did another this evening as the Premom app advised and it is even stronger with the test line being as dark, if not darker than the control line (see attached pictures - clear and simple this morning and easy at home this evening)
Is it possible that I am ovulating so soon in the cycle?

Yeah it looks like it! What number has Premom given the tests when you've scanned them?

Sometimes cycles take a while to balance out after coming off contraceptives

The easy at home gave 0.84. I'm not sure what that means!

Hey there, I have a regular 28 day cycle and this is my first month tracking! I too got a positive opk on day 7! I assumed I'd ovulated but kept testing on my monitor and on day 15 I got a peak along with what felt like some ovulation symptoms. I obviously can't be sure but I suspect that the second surge might have been my actual ovulation. Next month im going to do bbt so I can be more sure. Maybe you have ovulated early but you could keep an eye on the opks for the next couple of weeks in case. 😊x

@Elz1406 Hi! It's all so confusing when it's new isn't it!
Yeah I've invested in a thermometer to BBT from next month! I'm going to keep OPK testing and monitor any changes this month. Was just quite shocked to see such a strong positive on the OPK so early!

Yeah that's interesting, I'd say keep testing you might get a second darker line later, and yeah bbt would help confirm any suspected ovu dates, it does take a few cycles to get a good picture of what is going on!
