Resuming TTC after a miscarriage

What can I do differently? I was taking folic acid and switched to pregnacare once I had a positive result. But when I reflect on my tests none of them were “dye stealers” and the clearblue weeks indicator took forever to get to 2-3 weeks. I’m wondering if there’s any other supplements or foods that I can take that will help with egg quality and any future pregnancy (if I’m lucky enough to become pregnant again).

I know I can google but there’s so much info and I’m hoping people with experience can recommend something.

TIA

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage @Misspotterscat.

There is so much on google it can definitely get a little overwhelming. Some of the things I’ve done that have worked for me (currently 5w5d) are, eating pineapple including core from last day of AF (cut a whole pineapple into 5 slices and have a slice a day) Brazil nuts x2 a day. Both help with fertility and implantation (thickening uterine lining).
No alcohol and completely cut caffeine out (I stick to fruit and peppermint tea as I’ve heard horrible things about decaf tea and coffee). Plenty of green leafy veg in diet and avoiding too much sat fats and sugar.

Also would recommend acupuncture. I did three sessions, one during AF and then one day of ovulation and 1 week after. Don’t know if that works 100% but if not but definitely helps relax you.

Best thing is try not to stress too much, all these are suggestions that I did to feel a bit more in control but you can deffo overthink it, just try and relax.

Good luck :)

@3xLL thank you so much for your response. I will start the pineapple and nuts from tomorrow and increase my leafy greens. I’ve started taking zinc too. I have been on decaf tea for months now - interested to know what horrible things you’ve heard about them?

Be warned the middle of the pineapple isn’t the easiest to get down, but all worth it if it works!

So the process they use to extract the caffeine is the chemical methylene chloride also used in paint stripper, a small amount is left behind from the process, might just be me but thought that can’t be good to be consuming!

Some companies such as clippers organic decaf tea have confirmed they use a more natural process so there are alternatives if you love a tea!
