Posted yesterday avout OVULATION TESTS, did another today ...

and the one yesterday was a clear pink line, very clear but not as dark as the control line so was to take this as NEGATIVE,

just donr one today and theres barely a line there at all!

Does this mean yesterdays was positive afterall?

Also Im on CD13 and when I went to the loo I had some AF, sorry to be gross but its like blood tinged mucas.

Any ideas?

I just realised why ive had blood, about a week ago i took one of my contraceptive pills! Ive been on them for ages and completly fogot i wasnt taking them!

That must have messed this cycle up!

get rid of all your old contracteptive pills - take them to the pharmacy to dispose of them!

Does that mean this cycles completely buggered?

So I should count this as CD1 again??

I am so fed up, cant believe i messed up and 2 weeks have been wasted.

Im only charting my cycle but still... was excited to see if i ovulated the same time as last month.

Do you think this little bleed will affect my cycle or might i still OV?

I honestly don't know-hoping one of the other ladies will be along shortly.

When you start taking pill, you are recommended to use other birth control methods for at least 7 days - so from that I would reckon that you would not have inadvertantly 'protected' yourself from pg

I have no idea how it would have affected your cycle. THe pill works by suppressing LH, and you obviously had some in your urine, and by suppressing FSH (follicle stimulating).

I think Imentioned on yuor other thread that I only 'caught' my surge by doing an extra test at a different time of day.

oh - and I wouldn't count as CD1 yet, as you may have just delayed OV. See what happens over the next few day and keep doing OPK's.

is your bleed actually AF or has it stopped ? It could be an ov bleed ?... I had that this month, not a lot of blood and kind og pinky - it was definitely ov for me as used opks and am temping.

I had some red blood last night so put a tampon in (sorry TMI) last night, this morning it was relitivly 'clean'

so im pretty sure its stopped now.

I did another OV test and it was def negative harly a line there at all, so i think I may have ovulated a few days ago.

So my plan is to just use condoms for the rest of the month until 'real' AF comes.

Then next month we are going to try properly

DH wants a new job so we have decided to go ahead and try now because he will get paternity pay at his current job! lol Then he can find a new one when baby is a few month old.

Well now I don't know whether I want it to be period for you or not!! At least if it is your period then you can get on with TTC

Don't know what your timings are like - but I had a short bleed like you described and it turned out to be an implantation bleed and I was pregnant !!

No, Im definatly not pregnant. I started my period about 2 weeks ago, and it was a proper one lasting 5 /6 days, so no baby here.

Bleeding has stopped now so Im just left feeling frustrated at not know where the hell Im up to in my cycle. Can only wait for next AF and hope its not too long away.

It could be that your body was just gearing up to ovulate, but then didn't, so perhaps not that far out. Keep doing the OPK's until next AF, just in case. Your body might go for another attempt...

You got line on CD12 - which if you hadn't taken pill might have gone positive CD13 - and you can OV 12-48 hours after you get your positive - CD15ish?
