Does your ovulation day/pattern change by the month?

This is the second mo th I've done LH testing and last month the prediction was spot on at CD 14 for the peak. This month I think my peak is today CD 17 so ovulation likely CD 18?

Also last month it was one test only showing peak whereas so far this month I have 2 high tests.

Usually have 28 day cycles for over a year being off the pill but the last few months my period has been later than predicted (why when you're ttc does your body like to trick you?)

So I guess my question is is this normal?

This ttc is taking longer than we expected, so fingers crossed every month, thinking now we may have missed ovulation some months when going by predicted dates?

looks normal to me, this is why testing is really important as if you’re just assuming you ovu on cd14 you may miss it some months, I have had weird cycles from coming off pill, Early mc and now trying to get back to normal but so far mine have been roughly around cd 14-15 but sometimes later

also I think sometimes your body can try to ovu on say cd14 but for some reason it doesn’t happen and it tries again later so you might get cd 17-18 on that cycle, so many different reasons why it may change cycle to cycle, fun huh?

also the peak it just depends when you test, if you catch the start of the peak then you might get several high readings, if the full peak happens overnight or middle of the day at work you’re not likely to catch every reading but testing a couple of times a day when the lines get darker like you have done is perfect

anyway this looks totally normal to me 😁

I found the Premom app wasn't very good for predicting ovulation dates. It's great for checking your test strips but the dates were always far off for me. I used the Premom strips for confirming ovulation and the Clue app for predicting my periods and ovulation. You can add a positive test to your daily logs in Clue and it will predict your period/ovulation then. Will obviously be more accurate the longer you use it!
I tested 2 or 3 times a day around my predicted ovulation day just in case I missed the peak!
