High LH after miscarriage?

Hi guys,

I had a miscarriage on the 17th of April, stopped bleeding on the 24th of April. I generally have a 32-35 day cycle so usually ovulate between day 18-21 I’m assuming as I don’t track. However after my loss I am TTC again and am tracking ovulation, I started on the 25th and my lines appeared just a little lighter than the control line. It stayed like this until yesterday 29th and now have gotten lighter, I’m worried I’ve already missed my peak or would this be unlikely given my usual cycles? It’s only two weeks tomorrow since I had the miscarriage . Sorry this may be obvious to some just very clueless as to why they have gotten lighter. My Flo App says I’m due to ovulate in 5 days but not sure how accurate the app is in regards to my ovulation it is generally spot on with my periods xx

Did you already get a negative HCG test from your miscarriage? LH tests sometimes pick up on HCG and it could be left over hormone from your miscarriage?

Hiya
i had a chemical pregnancy last month, at the time of my BFP my ovulation tests were very positive and stayed positive for a good week or so afterwards. Then they turned negative and barely there. It’s probably just the hcg leaving your system that’s caused it to stay dark for a while

Hey, sorry for your loss.
I found ovulation tests such a minefield after my miscarriage in Feb. I got strong positives at first (which I agree with above was HCG being picked up). Then they died down and picked back up again 4 weeks after the MC which was the actual ovulation.
I would keep testing and see if yours pick back up again maybe? For some people, I think the first few cycles after MC can be all over the place. It could be that you’ve already had a peak but I think to have it less than 2 weeks after the MC sounds possibly a bit early.
