I'm very new to doing basal body temperature. I use my easy @ home basal body thermometer today and my temp was around 36.62 Celsius. I'm on cycle day 8 today and normally ovulate on cycle day 14.

Can someone give me some advise on BBT and what would be the temp before, during and after ovulation. Any advise would be appreciated. Also, if I was pregnant what would the temp be.

Also on the pre mom app I can only document Fahrenheit. How can u change this to Celsius.

Hey! Not sure about premom app as I use natural cycles however regarding temp, there is no set temperatures it is what is normal for your body.

If you continue to take you temp in bed every morning before doing anything else your app will pick up in a pattern, there will be a baseline for where your bbt sits for you before ovulation. After you have ovulated your temp will peak, going above this baseline and staying above the baseline for a few days will confirm that you did in fact ovulate. Usually your temperature will then stay above baseline until very close to or even day of af arriving. If you are pregnant then your temp will stay up passed missed period.
This is generally how it works but please remember everyone is different and it's not an exact science.

Again everyone's temps will be different but on average I'm around 36.4 before ovulation, I will then peak to around 36.7 at ovulation and have gone as high as over 37 until the day af arrived.

Jumping on this thread as I’m in my 2 week wait and very anxious.
I had my first round of Letrozole and now either 5DPO or 6DPO

I just want to make some sense of my chart, does it look promising? I keep thinking a hight body temp isn’t hight unless it’s minimum 37.00 and I get so bummed when I see it under 37.

I’ve had twinges on my right side, where I think I ovulated from as it hurt during ovulation. I’m dry now, no more CM since Tuesday I think.

Would really appreciate any type of ideas about my chart. It always feels like I’m the only one asking Google my questions, there’s never an answer…

@alexalexalex18 how are you doing? My temp never gets much higher, it's a pretty small rise from about 36.10 (ish) to 36.50 (ish) so I always think it's not enough of a jump but apparently it is so don't worry yourself.

I’m on 4 DPO today, nothing really other than fuller breasts which normally happens closer to my period.
How about you?

I’m only on CD10 so currently waiting for my peak.. got a flashing smiley on the Clearblue test today but strips still low (normal for me). Taking this week as my fertile week so send me luck!! Keep me updated with how your graph looks xx
