Exhaustion after miscarriage??

Hi guys,

I miscarried on the 17th of April and stopped bleeding Monday (24th), however, I have never experienced exhaustion quite like this. I currently have a 16 month old and I don’t recall even being this tired postpartum with him. It’s pure exhaustion. Is this common after MC ? I know it’s only been less than two weeks and maybe it’s my body needing to recover just wasn’t expecting to feel like this. TIA

I was. I was beyond exhausted for four weeks - it has an impact even 3 months later.

Sorry, it's rubbish.

Also maybe worth checking your iron levels if you lost a lot of blood? I have to say i've been very tired and unmotivated after my MC in Feb, but i'm not sure how much is just busy life/stress/emotionally recovering etc it's really hard to say

so sorry for your loss x

Sorry for your loss. I miscarried on 20th March and like you have never felt exhaustion like it. It's a hard task just getting up in the morning. I have been diagnosed anemic as lost quite a lot of blood and am still bleeding even now. Nurses told me that a lot could be down to the emotional impact as well as the anaemia and body balancing hormone levels.
