TTC for over 2 years. Had a dermoid cyst and 1 damaged tube removed a laparoscopy in January. No follow up appointment after the surgery, but received a letter confirming it’s a dermoid cyst.
Normal period in February, light bleeding during March and today the heaviest period I’ve ever had started. Constant pain that paracetamol doesn’t touch, filling a tampon and pad around every 90 minutes, a big clot earlier and few smaller ones since. I’ve never had clots or periods this heavy or painful before.
Guess I’m looking for advice on heavy periods, clots and the pain, plus any hope from people with similar experiences who conceived. Not sure how concerned to be or if periods this bad could be my new normal.
Really hoped for improvement after the cyst was removed but feeling worse than ever today. Hoping to get a GP appointment tomorrow.
