4 day heavy bleed and positive test

Hi all

Been looking at these threads for hours trying to find anyone who might have had a similar situation to me. Last week I got a very very faint positive on the day af was due. What I thought was af arrived the following day and bled for 4 days. I felt a bit sick the day I stopped bleeding though so took another test and had a v clear positive. Is that possible after what I thought was a chemical? It's been a further two days and whilst the test is still positive in the mornings, they appear lighter than the one 3 days ago. Any suggestions? I'm very confused as it seems like the hcg rose while I was bleeding but has now possibly stopped...

Very similar experience>> Have been TTC for about 3 months now. Had unprotected sex around the end of period which was about Sep 19th 2023. A couple days prior to oct 13, 2023 (the day my period was supposed to start) I had started getting a light amount of light pink and brown spotting as well light cramps which all had been on and off & was dismissed as implantation. The day period was expected to start (oct 13, 2023) I woke up to what I had again assumed was implantation bleeding (brown spotting) and dismissed it off. Later that day in the afternoon I noticed the bleeding getting heavier & I begin to pass small clots as well as mild cramping which has now lasted for 5 days. The bleeding has now gotten slightly lighter but still concerned that this experience has resulted in me having a chemical pregnancy. I might also add that that the day after the bleeding got heavier (day of expected period) I took a pregnancy test which resulted in a faint positive which was still very visible. Tested again the next day and got a darker positive. I would be in my 4th week of pregnancy now. Has anybody else had an experience like this and went on to have a healthy and safe pregnancy??

i am going through the exact same thing currently. got negative tests before my period was due then on the off chance tested during my period because something felt off and it came back positive.
