Hello,

Me and my DH have been trying for 4-5 years. I managed to get pregnant once but ended in MMC at 8 weeks. Iv never tracked or know when I ovulate. This month I'm really looking to try catch it as Iv never been successful. From my LH tests does it look like I may ovulate soon?

Potentially yes, mine gets darker one day before it peaks however it can fluctuate all month so it's not 100%. Maybe start dtd today just to be sure.
Test twice a day otherwise it's super easy to miss!

Thanks @Ttcmumma. We DTD yesterday. Will do again today. Iv just tested again and seems to be fainter than my FMU and I v read your not meant to test with FMU? Wish it wasn't this difficult to confirm when you ovulate 😆

Also the past few hours my lower abdomen is twitching like crazy. Not sure if this is a symptom??

Hmm maybe if it's fainter you are definitely past it now? I test morning and evening and have had my peaks at both times. Mine doesn't usually last more than 24 hours but I guess we are all different! I'd say dtd one more time and then see what it's like tomorrow.

They usually say fmu would be lighter as the lh doesn't show until abit later in the day

I'm thinking maybe I ovulated CD 12 looking at it. I'll carry on testing and see what happens. We DTD yesterday and today so hopefully Iv caught it!

How long are your cycles? Try and test around the same time each day, best between 10am-8pm. I don’t think you ovulated CD12 as that’s still a low reading. A high is over 0.5 and a peak is usually close to or over 1.0

My cycles are all over the place. Can range Iv had them 29 but also 42. Generally they are 30-33 I think.

Well there’s no positive test yet, you need to test daily from a certain point in your cycle, between 10am - 6pm. I start testing daily at CD8 and increase frequency about CD10 to 10, 2, 6pm and usually peak on CD12. You may have missed your peak as you haven’t tested on CD 9, 10 and 11

Ok thanks! I'll have to take some strips to work. I don't think I have had my peak. I tested on them days and still wasn't darker than the control (I just forgot to take a pic). Hopefully I haven't missed it. I DTD yesterday and today. So I don't know if I would still have a chance even if I did peak just before CD12

@dailytester say a 30 day cycle then, luteal phase of an average of 14 days. You’d expect a peak roughly around day 16, give or take a few days either way. Keep testing and you should start seeing a rise soon. Maybe do twice a day for the next week or so and see how you go. Remember you want a few hours hold with urine so it’s not too diluted.

Thanks for the advice. I will keep on testing twice a day.
