We really want to start TTC as soon as this MC is done. I never thought I’d want to so soon but I’m desperate for us to grow our family and even more so now I’ve lost this baby. How soon after did you get pregnant again and did you have a period in between?

I had a MC October 2017, got pregnant November 2017, no period in between, no issues, DD was fine though I was very nervous throughout the pregnancy.

Very early MC October 2021, didn't get pregnant again until August 2022 but then in September it turned out that was ectopic and it was horrific and i had to have surgery to remove the fallopian tube as well as the pregnancy, haven't got pregnant again since.

So I think there's no science to it at all. The Dr I saw after MC 1 said some studies suggest you're more likely to get pregnant in the 3 months after, but that wasn't the case for us the 2nd time.

I hope you’re ok. Please try not to put too much pressure on yourself - your body will be ready when it’s ready. I had a MC and it took ages after my ERPC to get a negative test and hormones to go back to normal, then another 6 weeks to get a period. I fell pregnant my next cycle but it was agonising waiting. Looking back I was so hard on myself at the time.
