Ovulation + early period?

so this month I used the digital clear blue for the first time!
started testing at cd12, got my first “high” or flashing smiley at cd14 and then tested twice a day until cd21 which all returned flashing smileys. No static smiley or peak.
on cd21 I noticed red as I wiped (not enough to need pad/liner) and again on cd22. The red blood is consistent and appears fresh. I also had some pains on my left side just prior to the blood.
at first I thought maybe it was ovulation bleed, but I’ve never had this before and didn’t get a static smiley!
now I think maybe AF has arrived? But I usually have 29-31 day cycles so for AF to arrive on cd21/22 is very odd.
I know no one can tell me for sure, but I would really appreciate hearing your thoughts on what could be going on?
I’m starting to lose hope with my body and feel very out of sync with myself after such a long time of TTC :-(

Bump? Anyone had any similar experiences?

I know this thread was a couple of months ago but what was your outcome? Going through pretty much the exact same thing I’m on CD18 thought I ovulated CD16 but I’m having the same type of bleeding. Also my first month using OPK’s. I’m gutted as want this baby so much x

Hi there, this exact same thing is happening to me except cramps as well as light bleeding but only on CD21 - what were the outcomes???

@LoulouM12 Turns out I was pregnant 🙈 my baby is now a week old! So mine must have been some type of conception / ovulation bleed. X

I’m having a v weird one… usually have 28/29 day cycles. This month first time using clear blue OPK and had flashy smileys days 15-20 only. DTD days 13, 15 and 17. Day 20 started spotting then yesterday and today (day 22) cramps and period like bleeding but not heavy… never had a period a week early in my life?! Seems v odd, But bleeding and cramping too heavy to be implantation….
