CD17 still negative ovulation tests

I've been testing since cycle day 10 and my ovulation tests are still negative on day 17.

I've got a blocked fallopian tube so I'm unsure if that makes any difference.

The tests aren't even getting stronger ☹️

My cycles tend to range from 29-33 days.

Is this normal? ☹️

With long cycles it would be normal to ovulate later than day 14.

I ovulate between day 20-23 on a 33-35 day cycle.

What tests are you using. never seem to have got a positive on the cheapy ones. not once! but have done on the clear blue digital.

You may just spike in the middle of night or maybe even earlier than day 10. if your cycles are quite long then its likely you ovulate late. I ovulate day 18 of a 27 day cycle and got pregnant not problem

Sorry, replied too soon. Meant to say, I ovulate around day 19 on a roughly 31 day cycle so it is possible that you havent ovulated quite yet.

I ovulated before day 13 this month and I have a 31 day cycle. I started testing at day 10 and didn't get a peak, but went for a scan at the fertility clinic on day 13 and she could see I'd already ovulated! We dtd on days 8,9,10 so I'm hopeful we caught, next cycle (assuming I don't get my bfp) I'll be testing from the day af stops.

Thanks everyone - I'll try not to take so much notice of my app that's telling me ovulation should have happened days ago!! Tests still showing negative this evening but fingers crossed I get my peak over the weekend xx

I'm on day 20 now and they have been around this since Saturday. They seem strong but not strong enough to say there is a peak.
I did have fertile CM yesterday and had stomach cramps all day that felt like period ish so I'm wondering if maybe that was ovulation?

That looks promising, like you'll peak soon. You could try doing two tests a day from now, in case you miss the actual peak.

I had something similar to you with no obvious peak but two days of stronger lines like yours last month on CD17/18 (28-day cycle), but later read that some people recommend doing two tests a day as the actual peak can be short (make sure the second test is done at the same time each day, e.g. test at 10am and 8pm every day). I've got a big pack of cheapies for this month and am going to try this to see what happens.

Im actually testing about 4 times a day 😭 I've became ridiculously obsessive this month.

Hopefully the CM is a good sign even if you don’t manage to pinpoint the peak 🤞

I’ve still got about week to go I think before ovulation, very annoying having long cycles… feel like I’m waiting forever before the 2ww even begins

Only issue is I've had stabby pains all day in my left ovary - the one with the blocked tube!!! So now I feel like this months been wasted anyway 😭
