No, negative. You've either hit on a random annovulatory cycle or you ovulated later than usual....

I'm not to sure text book says 14 days before your period you usually ovulate. I've always had really irregular cycles (pcos) so I never really knew when I ovulated.

Do you have a regular cycle are you late for your period yet?

I had nexplanon taken out 17th march. I'm on cycle day 34 now. No sign of AF. I had 2 periods a month on nexplanon but sometimes normal. Cycles were between 12-28 days. Last 4 cycles I've had 28,26,12,16. So this is very unusual for me. Have had sore nipples, abdominal cramps and lower back pain, more emotional and very tired (having day naps everyday), cravings for things I usually hate etc. Have been having BFNs.

I would be inclined to think your body is still adjusting to coming of your contraceptive. But it is possible to fall pregnant quiet soon after coming of the implant. If you know when you last DTD you can work out if the test is likely to be correct. Normally you can test any time from 14 days after and get a fairly accurate result.

CatchHimDerry · 20/04/2023 13:56

Hi OP my Nexplanon removal I had like a random bleed a few days later, then a more normal period a few weeks later.
It can mess with you a bit the hormones adjusting!

After that I fell pregnant so only really 1 cycle, I was so shocked I thought it would take ages.
Also so so grateful that it was so quick.

Now after BF baby, and still feeding just not as often, they are all over the shop so who knows when we try next for a 2nd

Best of luck OP sending baby dust as they say! X

Implant removal 17th march. Period/withdrawal 18th-23rd march. DTD 18/23/26 march and 1,2,7,8,9,10,11,12,14,15,16 April. Today is 20th April and on cycle day 34, do you reckon it's a possibility ?

Cycles can often take a while to return after coming of contraception. In some cases you end up finding that the contraception was hiding other issues. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism when I came off the pill - my first cycles before I was put on the meds varied between 35 days and 145 days (it was whilst in the middle of that last cycle that I went to the GPs).

No one can tell you when to expect to ovulate if you clearly haven't around the typical CD14 mark, but you can start tracking using BBT and OPKs to try and work out what's happening....

You've posted the same pictures continuously for around two weeks with the previous user name of PossiblyPregnantat17.

Stop fucking using the same pictures, the test is clearly negative (which is a good thing really considering you're trying to get pregnant at 17 ... )

  1. no I am not trying to conceive, I'm constantly posting for advice!! 2) I'm a week late for a period I've never missed before 3) no these are not the same pictures, I'm just constantly testing and yes am aware they are negative however GP is now made aware as I had one strong positive so seeing other possibilities. No need to be so insensitive and rude!

@PossiblyPregnant0571 the best thing to do is see what your GP says. It's totally normal for your cycle to take months to get back in to a rhythm when you come off contraception.

You're definitely not pregnant, so you need to stop testing as it's wasting your energy and money.

I think it’s quite clear you are TTC, you had unprotected sex several times after coming off the implant, you’ve been analysing symptoms, discharge etc and know all your usual dates and have been marking when you had unprotected sex on a tracking app.

you’re only 17, you’re not pregnant, get yourself some contraception sorted!

helpmechoosepls · 20/04/2023 19:47

This is getting utterly ludicrous now.

YOU
ARE
NOT
PREGNANT

helpmechoosepls · 20/04/2023 19:47

And thank god you're not considering you're only 17!

frannnybip · 20/04/2023 19:51

@cherryscone
Thought this sounded familiar 😂

PickledScrump · 20/04/2023 21:18

You are not pregnant. Stop testing now, get contraception sorted and consider getting yourself some counselling. You really should not be trying to get pregnant at 17. Go out and live your life. There’s time for babies later.
