When do you really start testing?

Hello!
Just curious how many DPO everyone starts testing.
I know we're meant to wait but just curious as to when we all crack! Wink

I cracked at 8dpo 😅 ridiculous I know - I just couldn’t hold on (unsurprisingly no line- no matter how hard I squint)

Not before 10 dpo and even then I’d do my best to hold out until 11 as I never got a positive at 10

I was intending to wait u to 14dpo, cracked at 9dpo, got a BFp at 10dpo

8dpo - I had the faintest of lines at 8dpo last time and could call it a bfp at 9dpo

I have no willpower what so ever. And even tho I know it’s going to be a bfn I still do it anyway. Obviously like to torture myself a lot.

I tested at 7dpo 😂😂 and then for no reason at all tested the next day too. even tho I said I’d wait till at least 12/13dpo.

I try to wait for 10dpo but tested at 9 this cycle as I couldn't wait.
EVERY cycle I tell myself I will wait longer.
I'm an addict...!

update - I was going to wait for 8dpo tomorrow but tested today at 7dpo and now obsessing over whether I can see the faintest of lines...

@HavinKittens Yes they showed within a couple of minutes. The cheapie was FMU, then I stupidly used the FRER with the next wee I had instead of being sensible and saving it for tomorrow's FMU! Which is feeling very far away right now.
I got my first faint line at 8dpo with previous pregnancy so might be something about my body that hcg rises fast....if this is in fact a bfp which I'm definitely not sure of yet.

I think you have a good chance that this is a positive then! Hope you get a stronger line soon.

I find it sooo hard to resist using tests if I have them in the house. Waiting for the fmu is HARD!

I was silly before and tested early - I think this site can encourage early testing as you see success and think why not me too? I’m 12dpo and managed to hold back so far. I’m going to wait to Friday. I’ve only got one of the expensive tests and don’t want to waste it if period comes soon.
