EWCM Before Ovulation?

is it possible to have EWCM before ovulation?
I went to the bathroom and wiped and had a long string attached.
I’m CD10 and fertile window is due to start at CD13 with ovulation predicted at CD18 (same as last month)
I have been OPKing since CD7 once a day and they have been very much negative.

just looking some advice from anyone that’s had it before.

I got a bad batch of these sort of tests and they never got dark, I know when I ovulate because I get bad pains but they picked up nothing!
I've had ones before that worked great though but I guess sometimes you need to listen to your body

@DaisyMay25 this is the same batch as last month when I got my peak. I also use a cheapies & they've also been negatice.
I use easy @ home and also cheapies at the same time just for reassurance and they never let me down last month and my peak was pretty clear.

I also get twinges around ovulation but have had nothing. It's not reassuring seeing that EWCM if it's only suppose to come when you've ovulated. 🙈

Try testing multiple times a day if you have enough of them. I used to test morning and evening (on a three hour + hold) nearer ovulation day I'd test three times a day 😂

@DaisyMay25 just done another one as I started testing twice a day coming into my fertile window now; it’s reading at 0.16 and abit darker than earlier.
google did say you can get EWCM up to 2-5 days before ovulation. Hopefully I haven’t missed it and is still coming up for this month.

I'm pretty sure EWCM is meant to be before ovulation as it helps the sperm? I start having ewcm a few days before ovulation and I then know I'm likely to be in my fertile window.
Please someone correct this if it's wrong

@Hankthehonk I’ve never had it the way it was yesterday so was confused, you could be 100% right. My OPKs are still pretty much negative but I did google it and it says from 2-5 days before ovulation you may experience it so put my mind at ease as my fertile window starts Wednesday going by my 3 apps I have. Fingers crossed. 🙈
