Zita West vitamins

Hi, I just started taking Zita west vitafem in preparation for TTC in 2 months time. Has anyone taken vitafem before? Can i take pregnacare as well? thanks!

I have also just started taking vitafem, I think they are designed to be a complete supplement so no need for any others.

I have noticed that my wee is now bright green - must be all that goodness!

How long are you all going to take the vits before TTC? we are going to TTC early May, giving the vits a couple of months to work properly. is this too long, too short? personally, i am getting very very impatient! i want to try now

Gillydaffodil, sorry about your MC in oct06. i have a friend who is going to start IVF in April08. she had to wait 5 months, it is on the NHS. Good luck to your IVF!

Not an expert on any of this but you do need to be careful that you dont take too many vits, just make sure you take a good one designed for pregnancy. No such thing as too short/long. Recent evidence has found that there are benfits of taking folic acid for over a year before ttc, but any time before ttc (certainly 3 months) is good to get your body as healthy as posible. Oh and just in case you want to know there is a whole thread of people waiting ttc so you are happy to share the wait with us here

Just wondering if anyone here take vitafem conception vitamins by zita west? I was comparing with pregnacare and they have lots of extra things but the quantity is quite high. I'm worried about overdosing so wondering if it's worth a change
