Very late period , negative test help!

Hello! I’m on cycle day 52 (normally 32-38) I’m still getting negative on the tests. Is there any chance i could still be pregnant? Anyone had or heard of people only getting positive after 50+days?

I think if you're getting negatives it's unlikely you're pregnant. You may have just skipped a period. It's happened to me a couple of times.

Hey, I’ve literally only just created an account purely because I am experiencing the same thing and mumsnet seems to be the only place where women are talking about it as doctors are saying the smear test doesn’t affect periods when it clearly does. There are loads of posts about it on here. I have never in my life been late for a period. I’m now 15 days late, have been having symptoms of a period coming and terrible skin for 22 days yet nothing. I had my smear test 2 weeks before I was due on. I’ve taken 2 pregnancy tests neither of them positive. I’m becoming so impatient now as I suffer from really bad period pains and my skin is so sore from my usual outbreak… it just doesn’t usually last this long
