Taking clomid on a super light period ?

I've been prescribed clomid however my period has just started today so its day 1 but the problem is my periods vary . Sometimes they are normal flow sometimes I have super light periods .. that I barely even need a tampon. They only exist when I wipe at toilet.
I don't know what to do. Do I start clomid or not ? It might never come on heavy. Consultant secretary takes too long to get back to me. Would be lucky if they even got back to me this week.
Should I start it or not ? My concern is I had a light period last month so if I have another light period this month I fear my lining won't be clean enough for implantation. What do you think. Has anyone taken clomid when they are barely bleeding?

Were you given any provera to take as part of the regimen? You basically take it and 10days later it brings on a period, when you then take the clomid (well i did letrozole but same difference). It means you have a proper period to start the OI drugs. Cant help with the question on light period but might be worth asking for next month if you dont have a bfp this month.

My first letrozole was after taken norethisterone and had the sort of light period you’re describing, they were fine with me starting the meds from that. It didn’t work for me but that absolutely wasn’t the issue, and the lining started thing and stayed thin when I just didn’t respond to it. Taking provera for future cycles did give me more of a bleed but I responded to letrozole the exact same way until we moved on from it after 4 failed attempts. So I would start taking it
