Getting a positive pregnancy test

Hello!
How long did it take you to get a positive test?
with my first baby it took long and I nearly gave up testing but I can’t remember how long.
I’m now on cycle day 49 but had a negative pregnancy test. Should I stop testing?

When did you last DTD? Are you usually pretty clockwork or irregular?

No I’m irregular anyway but not like this.
tested again this morning and got another negative day 50 :/
