Negative test 4 days late

Hi all,

As title says, my period is 4 days late and I'm still getting negative tests. With my son I got a positive test at 9 dpo, and I miscarried in December but with that pregnancy I got my bfp at 10 dpo.

What's going on? I'm usually like clockwork with my cycle and this is freaking me out! I'm not sure I'm ready to be pregnant again.

Anyone experienced random late periods/ messed up cycles a few months after miscarriage?

late ovulation/ or skipping a period isn’t that uncommon. If the tests are negative then you are likely not pregnant

Thank you! I'll keep testing this week but your reply has soothed me slightly!!

After miscarriage your periods can be all over the place. Ovulation too. I wouldn't stress too much if the tests are negative. Your body is probably still regulating itself

Cycles can go weird at any time. I had a 24-day cycle, then 32-day cycle, then 25-day cycle the first three months of this year when I’d had super regular 28/29-day cycles for the previous 2 years (and it’s now returned to normal again). I’d take a negative test this late as accurate.

I can only echo what others have said really. Sometimes cycles just go off on their own tangent, last year I had one cycle of 87 days... normally a clockwork 31/32 days and always have been! No reason for it, it was looked into and was reassured that sometimes it just happens. Fingers crossed you don't have to wait that long!!

Hi all. Wondering if you could ease my mind.

I suspect I'm pregnant with my 3rd child. I hadn't planned a third yet but these things can happen. I'm 3days late for period but I have had nausea for over a week on and off like previous pregnancies, I've had a metallic taste for ages on and off which is like my previous times and also my boobs are fuller and slightly more sensitive. I had period like cramps early last week and back ache too and getting tired etc than usual. Usually I'm very active.
However I have only had negative pregnancy tests I've spend a fortune on tests. My doctor did blood tests and all was normal but she didn't test for hcg levels. I'm convinced as is she but I cant so any more tests they're too expensive to keep doing and I don't know how many more times I can take a negative test when I am convinced I'm pregnant. What do you guys think? Does it sound convincing? Have any of you had the same experiences? Should I do another test tomorrow morning or not bother?

Thanks all

I would do the boring textbook thing and wait three days then test again with a cheapie.
