@Caroline1989 yes I find myself googling too much which is probably not good! Currently on 9dpo but have some cramps which feels just like AF approaching in a few days... will see if temp drops and if it hasn't by the end of the weekend will take a test. Sometimes seeing bbt drop is less disappointing than a bfn! How about you?

buckingmad · 12/04/2023 14:03

Recognise a few names from previous threads. Nice to see familiar names but also wish you had your BFP's and didn't need to come back!

Cycle 3 of TTC number 2. First cycle ended in miscarriage and no luck last month as my ovulation was a bit weird.

I'm on CD12 of this cycle and gearing up for DTD in the next week!

Seasidegirll · 12/04/2023 14:06

@Mummyme87 so sorry you’re struggling. ❤️.We haven’t been trying for as nearly as long as you but I’m also find this all very hard. It’s SO all consuming. The tracking ovulation and BBT, timing sex, symptom spotting, wondering if something is wrong, feeling like it’s NEVER going to happen and then negative test after negative test, it’s all getting a bit much 🙁 sending you lots of love xx

Mushroo · 12/04/2023 14:09

Caroline1989 · 12/04/2023 14:00

Same!! Fingers crossed for us! Just need to keep myself occupied until AF due. Will you test early or hold out for AF?

@Caroline1989 Think I’m going to test around the 22nd (if I hold out that long!).

Definitely before 24th as I go on holiday then!

Caroline1989 · 12/04/2023 15:15

@jessie92 yeh I get that, when are you due AF? I don’t temp but would rather see that than a BFN.

@Mushroo same, I think I’ll test 22nd too. I’m determined not to test before though, as last month I tested around 10dpo and it was negative so spent the next few days convincing myself it was too early. Would have been far less stressful if I had just waited 😬!

xx

Mushroo · 12/04/2023 15:23

@Caroline1989 we can try and keep each other sane!!

I normally spot before AF anyway so will only test if I don’t have any.

jessie92 · 12/04/2023 16:13

@Caroline1989 I'm due AF next Tuesday-Thursday 💭luteal phase seems to be 16 some months and 14 others.

Ahh yes I did the whole test too early thing one month and then kept googling whether it was still possible before testing a couple of days later. 😣try to avoid that kerfuffle now!

Do most of you ladies temp or not really? I've found it useful to help check ovulation has happened but the ups and downs do cause me some stress/confusion!

Mummyme87 · 12/04/2023 16:26

Just come home to another box of FRER from Amazon which I didn’t order. Random. I got the email saying it was delivered so must have sent a second in error. I also bought the pink dye boots ones aswell as 2 for less than £6 and they’re good

BB2023 · 12/04/2023 16:45

Hey ladies. Hope you're all well.
I got peak fertility on a Clearblue ovulation test on 10th so DTD twice that day and again this morning.
Not sure I trust it though as it's my first cycle off the pill and it went from 'low' (with a blank circle) to 'peak' the next day and no 'high' (flashing smilie) in between! Never used ovulation tests before so all a bit new to me. Will just have to see how things go but not holding out much hope as no idea what my proper cycles look like yet. x

Sierra26 · 12/04/2023 18:28

@jessie92 I temp. Similar to you it can be a bit all over the place but it does enable me to identify ovulation, as it goes up and stays up during LP. Sometimes I get the rise the day after my LH peak, other times two days later. Today I got a half rise and expecting the rest tomorrow.

So doesn’t help with planning but I like knowing that it has occurred and when.

Rainyday33 · 12/04/2023 18:45

Hi everyone, I would like to join. Im ttc #2 and this will be my cycle #3. I have a 2.5 year old son. Im 34 years old. My af is due in 2 days, already tested and it was negative.

lottieb92 · 12/04/2023 19:14

Hi all - names I know and some I don’t, on my way from Dec 23 thread.

AF due in next few days, still testing negative / so will be back on the thread for my next month of TTC 🤍

TTCing · 12/04/2023 20:07

Hi all,

Hope I am okay to join.

TTC baby #2. I’m 29 and my husband is 31. My husband has a known fertility issue. WE TTCd for over a year, had a chemical pregnancy and then shortly after fell pregnant with my daughter. My daughter is almost 16 months now. I’m still breastfeeding my daughter (but only a couple of times every 24 hours now). We’ve been TTC baby number 2 since July 22 (which is when my periods returned). I had positive digital pregnancy tests last week and sadly had an early loss 3 days later. So I have had two chemical pregnancies but have my healthy darling daughter.

TTC is honestly absolutely draining to me. I have cried a lot since my most recent loss and just feel like giving up. I hate to admit I feel resentful of other people who get pregnant quite easily and who have never experienced the heartache of a loss. I feel like a terrible person for saying that but I just can’t deny the pangs of jealousy and intense hurt it causes me.

I desperately want to have two children with a close age gap.

I do track my ovulation but don’t track bbt. We usually try and aim for every other day for 7 days.

Good luck to you all ❤️

Angelselevenx · 12/04/2023 20:25

@TTCing welcome! Sorry to hear of your early loss last week, how do you find tracking via OPK?

I'm going into my third cycle trying for our first, I came off contraception in December and we started trying in February, fell pregnant in March but like yourself, had an early loss. The bleeding has stopped now so I'm into my third cycle, track OPK and BBT. Not sure how my cycles will be affected to started tracking my OPK already incase it comes early later.

The feelings you're feeling are completely normal and probably the same as a lot of us within these groups. Don't give up, as hard as it may be xx

Daniki · 12/04/2023 20:36

@TTCing sorry for your loss and just to know your feelings are completely normal and totally understandable. I also get like jealous of people who fall pregnant easily and have never experienced a loss as they can enjoy their pregnancy without much worries, I know if I get pregnant again and it's successful I will worry until the day that baby is born 😩 very tough to be pregnant after a loss!
Wishing you all the best, I'm also trying for baby number 2 since July last year had 2 miscarriages and started trying again in feb this year after a 2 month break and getting frustrated it's not happening quick enough 🤪

jessie92 · 12/04/2023 20:44

Sorry to hear about your losses @TTCing and @Daniki and @Angelselevenx 😞 ttc is tough enough without miscarriages. Totally agree about the jealousy, I think if people who fell pregnant quickly understood how difficult it is for others it would be a lot easier! Wishing all the best for the next cycle 🍀

@TTCing sorry to hear about your early losses! Your feelings are completely normal after your experiences.

My daughter is a similar age - recently hit the 15 month mark. I’ve only been trying since January though as that’s when my period finally returned and that was only after I stopped breastfeeding completely. I also want two (or more) close in age so have been putting a lot of pressure on myself around this.

Feel you both on this! @Daniki @TTCing ! I get super jealous of people being able to fall so easily, it physically hurts me and causes me so.much stress!
This whole journey is so upsetting and heartbreaking xxxx

@Floralsandsmiles yep such a tough journey but glad to have these threads it’s not so lonely. There’s only so much I can talk to my husband about as he’s so positive all the time but there’s times I need to rant somewhere 🙈 x

Agreed @Daniki ! My DH is the same! Lol he is super supportive, but doesn't get it! 😅 xxx

Sad to hear everyone’s struggling so much 😞 I was wondering if anyone has any tips for how to stay positive about it/ not let it overwhelm too much? Sounds a bit silly but interested to know peoples coping strategies!

For example, I am genuinely happy for friends who fall pregnant easily (even if they weren’t intending to!) and so in the moment am bubbly and excited with them. But it’s usually later on that it’s easy to get down about it taking so long/ being difficult. The Easter weekend seemed a good distraction / keeping busy but any tips would be good to hear.

💕

TTCing · 12/04/2023 21:06

@Angelselevenx sorry to hear about your loss, sending my love! And thank you for your kindness xx

@Daniki thank you for your support and I’m sorry to hear you’ve also had a difficult time. I totally resonate worrying all throughout pregnancy. My daughter’s pregnancy was so hard for my anxiety.

@jessie92 thank you ❤️ good luck for this cycle!

@Aquarius93 it’s hard when each month it doesn’t happen and the close age hopes begin to dwindle. I was hoping for an 18 month to 2 year age gap, but it will be over a 2 year age gap now.

sending love to you @Floralsandsmiles xxx

lottieb92 · 12/04/2023 21:28

@jessie92 ive thrown myself into a fair few new challenges / distractions since TTC
but more recently started a Pilates class at my local village hall! And it’s been SO nice to have an hour to get my mind off of it, try something new and I think it’ll be beneficial in pregnancy and after ☺️

even trying it at home on YouTube. You might already be a fitness pro though. So sorry if that’s not your thing 🙈

Daniki · 12/04/2023 21:46

Did anyone you try acupuncture? I tried it after my first miscarriage and kept going til jan this year and I really believe it helped me, I fell pregnant the first cycle after my first loss and I'm wondering now if I had of went back would I be pregnant again now! My lady only works Saturdays tho and I work most wknds so it's tough to get to see her x
