Welcome @Nmmck93 can I ask which supplements you take please? I currently take a few but always open to adding more in!

I've said this on numerous threads but would be nice to know everyone's stories! I'm 29, OH is 32 and we've been trying since February for our first. Fell pregnant but had a chemical pregnancy on second cycle.

Currently on what I think is CD5/10 (depending on which day I class as CD1) of cycle 3. Not sure how the CP will have messed up my cycles but tracking via OPK and BBT. Normally ovulate on CD21 of a 31/32 day cycle.

Keeping my fingers crossed as I've seen a lot of positive stories of people falling in the months following a CP.

Sending positivity to you all 🫶🏼

Great idea! I'm 34, 35 in nov and husband is 33. TTC #2 since last July. Fell pregnant after having my bowel removed, wasn't expecting it and miscarried at 8 weeks, which made me realise how ready I was for baby 2. Got pregnant again roughly 6 weeks later and miscarried at 9 weeks. I have ulcerative colitis so possibly down to that, so my gynaecologist has given me a prescription for progesterone, steroids & aspirin to start as soon as I get my BFP, but it seems to be very hard to fall pregnant again. Gave my body a break after the second Mc in December so only started trying again in feb. Just realised I'm on c28, and although app says I'm due AF fri I think it could come sooner.
Wish it would as iv such sore boobs and headaches and it would put the wondering at bay 😂🙈 will start tracking my ovulation next cycle with the tests, although i really didn't want to go down that route again as I got obsessive with it before.

Sorry for the essay if you've made it to the end 😂

Nmmck93 · 10/04/2023 16:15

@Angelselevenx sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy!
sending baby dust to you! 💜 I will attach the pictures of the supplements I was recommended, I just got them on boots, but ordered my trying for a baby from eBay as they were so much cheaper than in store at boots.
there is vitamin D in the trying for a baby, but it was advised to take more vitamin D ontop of that.

Angelselevenx · 10/04/2023 16:17

@Nmmck93 thanks lovely, I felt so lucky falling so quickly but it wasn't meant to be! I've heard good things about seven seas as well...

I currently have a VITL subscription where I have a multivitamin, fertility vitamin (which includes all of the standard ones) omega 3 and coq10. I think I use all of the same as you bar the seven seas x

Daniki · 10/04/2023 16:21

Proceive conception is a great supplement to be on pre pregnancy, has everything you need in it 🥰 expensive tho so I'd look out for the 3 for 2 offers

Nmmck93 · 10/04/2023 16:22

@Angelselevenx sorry pictures didn’t attach.

Hi ladies! I was sort of half in the December thread but I'm terrible at stalking everyone and not participating! I'm month 2 of TTC #2, currently CD9 and expecting to ovulate CD12-14 based on previous cycles.

It took 8 months of actively TTC for my first but we'd not been using contraception for about a year before that so it might be a long process this time around but hoping not of course! I had 2 chemicals in the year that we weren't using contraception but not really trying.

I'm 32 in a couple of weeks and my first is 10mo, hoping for a reasonably small age gap but we'll just see how this goes!

TypingaThesis · 10/04/2023 16:40

Hey @Floralsandsmiles! Thanks for the invitation!

I’m 35 and ttc #1. Cycle 5 starts on April 15th but I’m 11dpo with a BFN so I am certain cycle 4 was not successful. Good luck for all the New Year babies!

thecoffeerun · 10/04/2023 17:47

May I join please 😊?

I'm 32 and just waiting for AF to arrive in the next couple of days to start our first cycle TTC baby #1.

So excited and also nervous, we decided at the beginning of the year that April would be our first cycle TTC as there were a few things I wanted to make sure I wasn't pregnant for before then, and I feel like I've been counting down the days for months and now it's finally approaching! I know how unlikely it is that it will happen the first cycle we try so I need to prepare myself for the disappointment.

Fallulah · 10/04/2023 18:23

God you’re all so young!
I’m 42, OH is 50… we’re being penalised for only meeting late in life! He already has an adult child so we wouldn’t qualify for IVF. I’m also really good at growing massive ovarian cysts so I only have one left and that one has had surgery on it but is apparently fully functioning.

Been off the pill 2 years. In one of the other threads I went through how my GP surgery has basically failed us by never referring us to fertility services. My complaint is still awaiting an outcome. All my tests are ok, OH will book a sperm analysis soon but realistically the last few months we haven’t had enough sex at the right times (I’ve also moaned a lot about this on previous threads)!

Realistically, it’s not happening, but I’m not ready to give up just yet, til I feel like we’ve given it a full and proper go!

Babydustthisyear · 10/04/2023 18:37

Hey Ladies, May I join I have been apart of a few threads since January.

I'm 32, DH is 38 this is out 4th cycle, ttc #1 I'm currently 2dpo so just beginning the TWW. We tried SMEP last two cycles and this month we haven't really just DTD a few days before ovulation and after.

Really hopeful that we will be sharing BFP very soon 💕💕💕

CinderRosie · 10/04/2023 19:14

Great idea to introduce ourselves!

DH and I are both 36, I have an older teenager already (yes, I was a very young mum!) DH has no kids. After getting married and buying a house we are finally ready to TTC, I’ve had a countdown thing on my hoke screen for months and now there’s only a few days to go 😂 Excited but nervous, especially with the HUGE gap I’ll have between babies if all goes well.

Angelselevenx · 10/04/2023 19:55

Welcome everyone! Nice to see some stories 😊

My chemical pregnancy/period has finally stopped bleeding today after 10 days very long days!

Now to wait for OPK peak and BBT drop 🤞🏼🤞🏼

BB2023 · 10/04/2023 20:19

Hi everyone, quietly stepping in here.
I'm 35 with an 11yr old daughter from my first marriage. Remarried two years ago and we finally got our act together and decided to try for a baby together. My husband doesn't have any children but treats my daughter as his own (he's been in her lift since she was 3yrs old).
I'm a bit worried about TTC now I'm older but seeing how things go for now. I'm not really sure of my natural cycles as I was on the pill previously but I'm using the Flo app to track my things moving forward. I'm also using the Clear blue digital ovulation sticks to keep ab eye on things. Currently on CD9 and ovulation test today showed as 'peak fertility' so we'll see. Not holding out much hope for our first month, that would be very lucky I think. Prob need a few months for my body to get into the swing of things.
Sending lots of luck to everyone in here xxx

Daniki · 10/04/2023 21:00

What does SMEP mean? Iv seen it mentioned a lot and can't figure it out 🫣

Angelselevenx · 10/04/2023 21:02

@Daniki sperm meets egg plan, a way of timing DTD around ovulation x

Angelselevenx · 10/04/2023 21:03

Thought this would be a useful link for everyone, you pop in your expected ovulation date and there's different ways of trying to time DTD (romantic right?!)

Daniki · 10/04/2023 21:04

Oh thanks @Angelselevenx 😊

DHB · 10/04/2023 21:07

I will join you all 💗

Early on in this cycle for me! CD4 for me tomorrow, miscarried at 8 weeks on 5th March so not sure how this month will go due to being the first period after it!

Fingers crossed to you all and looking forward to this months journey with you :)

Jellyfish1956 · 10/04/2023 21:37

Really nice to read everyone's stories - helps in normalise the TTC journey 💗

Feliciacat · 10/04/2023 22:31

@DHB welcome. So sorry to hear of the mc though. I hope your cycle stabilises again soon. I’ve heard that ttc within three months of an mc tends to be more likely to be successful.

AprilShowers92 · 10/04/2023 22:42

Hi everyone, I’ve been watching these threads for ages but haven’t participated since last March and think it’s time I got involved again!

I’ll be 31 in a few weeks, we’re ttc baby #1 cycle 5 although I am just the other side of a CP so not sure how this cycle will go.

We fell pregnant unexpectedly last year but ended in mmc. Found out I was pregnant a couple of weeks ago, exactly a year since I ended up in hospital but looks like it wasn’t meant to be again. Fingers crossed our rainbow comes soon and I wish everyone a successful cycle!

Babydustthisyear · 11/04/2023 07:44

Hey Ladies I'm 3DPO today and Iv had light pink bleeding, I track using Premom strips and clear blue digital, I'm so shocked at this as it is way too early for implantation bleeding and I'm also worried something is wrong, anyone know anything about this?
