Anyone else TTC number 2 in their 40's?
Hope we might make a little support group..

Me first;
44
TTC number 2
Cycles 24 days , pretty regular...
Using OPKs on occasion
TTC for 12 months now...more
IVF not an option

Hi I'd love to join too! I'm 41 and been TTC number for 6 years 😣due to low sperms count. IVF not possible due to cost. I had a chemical pregnancy last August which gave us hope and I'm using OPKs and when my app says I'm ovulating. Keeping everything crossed we get lucky this year 🙏

just turned 44, have 4yo DD and after much back and forth last year and deciding we were one and done, we’ve realised we would like to keep trying for number 2 for 6 more months and give it a good go.

are you both doing anything different?
we have decided for this last run, we will stick to a med diet, cut out alcohol, acupuncture for me and generally keep being healthy. I’m pretty much a 27 day cycle and very regular. Think we will start temping and doing the ov sticks to ensure we hit our window each month. We conceived DD within 2 cycles of trying/tracking - but no luck during the 6-7 months we were tying on and off last year.

I am feeling generally positive but do have a voice in my ear saying I’m too old (even though my mum had my sister at 45!)

@MirandasMumIsSuchFun good luck and fingers crossed 🤞 for you too. I'm also using OPKs when I can.

@Dinkadink welcome...I'm also 44 and have that voice telling me I'm past it too! I'm also using OPKs , Clearblue digital to be sure...
I wish on one hand I hadn't been too laid back about TTC number 2 but have absolutely enjoyed having spent time with DD1, now 4. Just us. It's such a difficult decision...I'm just going along with if it happens, it happens...
But at times feel like I'm the only one who is 44 TTC number 2 and left it this late!!
Everyone else got on with it and have 2 or 3 by now!!!
