I had the marian coil removed june last year, and have had about 3-4 periods since then, I don't know whats going on, the doctor does not seem too worried, but has'nt really helped, am now waiting on blood results next week, but just wanted to know if anyone else has had similar problems???

I had a mirena coil removed last march and the only period i had since was my m/c in september, i am now nearly 14 weeks pg though.

It just takes time to adjust after the mirena as it releases hormones into your body which take time to go

Thanks for the reply, that does make me feel a whole lot better, I was worried that if I was'nt in a proper 4 week cycle I would not be able to try (or not much point trying!) so have'nt tried as hard as I could have, so now you have given me a bit of hope!! Hopefully I will be pregnant so too.

I had mirena coil removed last july, and have had regular 28 cycles ever since! I do no friends that have had theirs removed and it took longer for their periods to become regular! Everyones different.
