How many lines should the inside of a clearblue digital have? Yes I know I shouldn't have opened it but I'm just so curious to know because I really do feel like I am pregnant. Period is due in 3 days but I think I ovulated and "possibly" conceived later on in my cycle. I've seen so many videos of people who get a not pregnant result open their tests and in fact have more than 2 lines which indicates a positive result. Opinions please

All digital tests have 2 lines inside even if negative...

Katie2023 · 04/04/2023 09:41

Yes although this test has 3 lines on the a side if you look closely?

Digitals work differently. They’re also not as sensitive. You want something like a frer or boots early result test. Avoid clear blue when early as they’re just not reliable. Don’t take tests apart either. It doesn’t help

Hi Ladies,

I am currently 9-10dpo and super impatient 😬 I took a Clearblue Digital (the one that tells you how many weeks, not the early one as the store did not have the early one in’s tock) I got a ‘not pregnant’ on screen but then decided to open the test up. I don’t know why my brain tells me to do these things 😂 I’m aware these tests have 3 lines, however the control line and the 2nd line on the bottom looks as if it’s slightly more than just a control line to me.

I’d love to have some others opinions? I know at 9-10dpo I’m super early AF due 5/6/23

Apologies for jumping on your post, but I’ve done the same thing

How did you get on were you pregnant?

Ttcsecond · 15/06/2023 09:16

Not sure if this helps anyone but found this on the internet that explains how the tests work. So the strip with one line detects HCG at a lower level.
I too opened mine up so attached pictures of when it was 1-2 and 2-3.

Hey hope you guys don’t mind but just wondered if anyone could update me on what happened in the end? I’ve found myself in the same situation .. was sure I was pregnant this time and took a test today 13dpo and but came back not pregnant. Opened up the test because, well, I’m like everyone else .. it has the faintest of lines so guessing that means it was accurate in being not pregnant? Thanks for reading
